The softest compound — ideal for slow, twisty circuits and cold weather when maximum mechanical grip is needed. Extremely rapid warm-up (great for qualifying) but the flip side is increased degradation. Low working range.
One of the most-used compounds, striking a balance between performance and durability with the accent on performance. Biased toward speed rather than distance; strong on full fuel and as a sprint tyre at the end. High working range.
Theoretically the most perfectly balanced compound — an ideal compromise between performance and durability. Extremely versatile; often comes into its own on fast, high-energy circuits. Low working range.
The toughest tyre in the range, for circuits with the highest energy loadings: fast corners, abrasive surfaces, high ambient temperatures. Slower to warm up but offers maximum durability — a key race-strategy weapon. High working range.
The crossover compound for damp and drying conditions. Semi-treaded pattern shifts meaningful amounts of water while keeping a useful dry performance window — the default call when rain is possible but not certain.
The full wet tyre disperses up to 65 litres of water per second at full speed, making it the effective solution for heavy rain. Recent evolutions also make it workable on a drying track, with a redesigned rear tread to cut aquaplaning.
